Brides against Breast Cancer, an organisation which offers support for cancer patients, is on its annual nationwide "Tour of Gowns". Wedding gowns are donated to the organisations' wedding headquarters in Sarasota, Florida before they are taken to bridal exhibitions in cities around America. BABC (Brides Against Breast Cancer) has been in operation for over 16 years now, spreading awareness and raising funds by selling discounted dresses to brides-to-be. "Everyone you meet has been touched by cancer ... they all have a story to share," Karen DeRitter, the BABC boutique manager, told FOX 29 News. "I'm very blessed to hear those stories and share it with them and then to share one of the most important days with them", Karen continued. Between 750 to 1,000 dresses are sold across America, with discounts of 25% to 85% from the original retail value, reported WPVI. "They have great options and tons of different sizes and designers," said Maygan Henzie, a bride who attended an event in New Jersey. "It's really a great opportunity and it goes to a great cause.
