We're fond of a bit of quirky footwear here at Her.
And nothing says quirky footwear quite like a pair of pumps fashioned into a pair of... pigeons.
Yes, one Japanese blogger - Keiko Ohata - recently created the eye-catching shoes, mainly because she's just a really huge fan of the urban-dwelling creatures.
"Ohata began with a pair of black high heels, foam and a love of birds. From there, she devised a pair of heels that is almost indistinguishable from bona fide birds," reports the New York Post.
Once finished, Ms Ohata took her creation to Ueno Park in Tokyo in order to get up close and personal with her feathered friends - with moderate success, it has to be said.
The blogger has helpfully shared a load of step-by-step pictures of the process - so you too can make your very own pigeon pumps at home.
Enjoy!
