Invisible Girlfriend provides the evidence to pretend you have a partner, if you so wish
Although the current service caters for "invisible girlfriends", the company is currently designing an Invisible Boyfriend and both are designed to be LGBT friendly.
The app is designed purely to fool prying family, friends and colleagues and not to create a girlfriend that the buyer can believe in.
‘We’re giving them a better story to tell, even if the story isn’t true,’ creator Matt Homann told the Riverfront Times, a weekly newspaper distributed in St Louis, Missouri.
The company is brand new, although Homann purchased InvisibleGirlfriend.com at 3 a.m. more than three years ago, calling it a “drunk domain” — paying only $7 for it with no clue if he would ever actually use it.
