With December quickly approaching, people in Ireland are making their Christmas plans but for many people, the festive season is a difficult time. For anyone that might be living near Belfast and who's alone on Christmas Day, Bengal Brasserie on the Ormeau Road is providing a free meal on 25 December. Luthfur Ahmed, owner of the restaurant, has extended the very kind invitation for those that may need some company, or a warm meal. In a post to the restaurant's official Facebook page, the owners states, "Luthfur Ahmed would like to invite all those who find them self [sic] on their own at Christmas to join him and the staff at Bengal Brasserie, Ormeau Road on Wednesday, 25 December 2019 to share a Christmas meal." The restaurant will be open from 12-8pm and if anyone is interested in attending, they're urged to call 02890647516 to reserve a place. Bengal Brasserie is an award-winning (Irish Curry Awards 2016) Indian restaurant in Belfast, and it has been in business for almost 30 years.
