The roar is the staple of the adult lion.
It allows the lion to let other lions known where they are and to prove how big and powerful they are.
That's why this baby lion attempting to roar is almost too cute to handle.
He is neither big nor powerful and yet, he is doing his utmost to let a roar out... and failing spectacularly and just doing a little croak instead.
It's adorable.
