Hop into the front seat, have a little bartering about price before you go anywhere, ask him how busy town is and how long he’ll be on duty for. It shows you care. Chances are his other fifty passengers so far tonight haven’t said the same thing. Really. Thursday night is ‘professionals’ night Not professional party people, because that would be ridiculous. (But if you know of an opening in that area, please do let us know). No, Thursday is the night when lots of office workers head out for ‘one or two’ together. We know what that means… men in suits as far as the eye can see. Nice. You can survive one day at half speed Partying on a Monday or Tuesday can have serious consequences for your working week. Even Wednesday is dangerous ground once you get past the age of twenty-two. Thursday, though, you’re safe. Anyone can blag their way through a Friday at the desk. Ideally, go out with some co-workers. Then you can all suffer together and carry each other through. Solidarity, sister. It’s the perfect excuse for a Friday fry What’s a night out if you can’t have the cure the morning after? The taco chips you scoffed at three in the morning don’t count. Hangover food was sent from God to make life easier to get through the day after Jägerbombs. Now you can actually stay in this weekend Technically, Thursday is not the weekend. So, you can get the party vibe out of your system and still have that quiet weekend in you’ve been promising yourself since Christmas. Plus, being hungover is the perfect excuse to stay in and watch the Late Late Show without being judged. Win/win.
