In the end, it didn't make a difference to the result but it's left poor old Hilda a bit red-faced. She also allocated the UK with 3 points where they weren't supposed to receive any at all.
According to Digital Spy, she said, "It is my great mistake and I admit it honestly, but I want to emphasise that I am not senile yet, although several write on Facebook that I should retire and keep me away from everything, and that I don't know anything."
She also posted a message on her Facebook page when the news first broke, which has been translated to say:
"Dear everyone on Facebook. There's probably no one is more upset than I am right now. Thankfully, it hasn't affected the final result, because it hadn't been to wear. It was the [telephone votes] decided the outcome. It's nice to see that I have not lived in vain, cause now all the young, beautiful, clever and those who never have to decide on something that is brought to public attention, get someone to pick on. It's just beautiful. You must all - no matter what you think of me - have a lovely Pentecost."And a second one earlier today which said, (again it's been translated):
"Dear friends on Facebook! Thanks to all of you who have supported me in these days. I don't have to explain that I have misunderstood the point system. I'm obviously distressed. I got from dr received confirmation that my mistakes have not affected the order in which the songs were. Ebu figured it out - the result was the same, regardless of my points. I have received some unusual perfidious and vicious messages and I can't believe you can become so hateful that some people are. I get on with my life thanks to all of you who have shown understanding for my mistake."
