Summer is so last season!
(See what I did there). In all seriousness, I am so completely fed up with summer. I am done with all the sweaty humid days, I am over worrying about putting on a bikini on holidays and I am totally finished with flip flops and sunburn.
Summer can go right back to where it came from as far as I am concerned.
Which is why I am pretty ecstatic that my favourite season of all is fast approaching, winter.
Still not convinced? Here are a few great things about winter that might change your mind.
Scarves
Do I even have to say anymore? Winter scarves are God's gift. Got a bad tan line, a scarf will sort it. Chilly neck, throw on a scarf. Want to keep your hair in place, tuck it in under your scarf. No winter day is complete without them.
Layers
Unlike summer days when you have to frolick around in light materials so you don't get too warm, during winter you can go to town with your layers.
Boots, coats, woolly jumpers, tights and jeans become your best friend and a really easy way to hide the fact that you may have skipped a gym session or two. Plus you will be toasty warm.
Christmas
The holy grail of winter. Christmas (or the month of December as I like to think of it), is a magical time when families come together, there is a never-ending supply of booze and chocolate, fairy lights are everywhere and we give and receive presents. If that's not perfect, I don't know what is.
The food
During winter you can eat soup, stew, shepherd's pie and all other sorts of warming comfort food to your heart's content. Sure you need all those carbs to keep you warm.
Warm bubble baths
Showers are for summer. Winter is when bubble baths really kick off. There is nothing better than soaking in a nice hot bath after a long day at work. Pure bliss!
Crisp weather
Finally, we can breathe again. Winter has the perfect weather for doing things outdoors apart from when it's raining/snowing/sleeting but we won't dwell on that.
Blankets
Blankets at all times of the day and in every situation. Winter is the perfect time to stay nice and cosy regardless of where you are.
Telly
TV is so much better during winter when all the usual shows like
Strictly Come Dancing and
The X Factor kick into overdrive. Plus we always have the soaps' big dramatic Christmas specials to look forward to.
Minimal maintenance
Because when you're wearing all those layers no one can really tell if you have shaved, exfoliated and moisturised or not. It's the perfect excuse to put your self-grooming on the back burner. Hallelujah!

There are lots of great things about winter but sore throats definitely aren't one of them. Septabene throat spray not only reduces pain and inflammation but also attacks the cause of it using its triple therapy of antiseptic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.
