3. It doesn’t have to be expensive
We’re not going to lie, it can be expensive but it depends on where you go. You pay based on location because the better your location, the better the snow tends to be but you can save money by heading to the less popular resorts, going all inclusive and heading later in the season.
4. Après ski
Nothing quite beats the celebratory drink after you come off the slopes. This is the time you get to put your feet up and relax with a few bevvies and quite often a roaring fire. It depends on where you go but the food is usually of a high standard as well.
5. It’s great fun
The first day or two will take it out of you, and will probably leave you with a few aches and pains, but if you persist, chances are you will end up loving it. Like we said before it’s like no other holiday you will have been on.
6. The beautiful scenery
Think the sight of the sun setting over the ocean it gorgeous? Well there is nothing quite like being above the clouds looking across the mountains on a sunny day (yes, it is sunny – in fact you have to bring sun cream so your face doesn’t get burnt).
7. It’s a bit of a workout
You don’t have to be super fit to go skiing but it does require some stamina and lots of determination. Your legs will feel it but just think of the killer thighs and calves you’ll have by the end of the week. Plus you will actually feel like you've achieved something other than a nice tan.Explore more on these topics:
