College is expensive. This is an obvious statement but it is something that differs massively depending on the country you're in.
In Ireland, most undergraduate students attending publicly funded third-level courses don't have to pay tuition fees. And instead pay contribution fees to the colleges. This is usually around €3000 for an academic year.
While Irish colleges may seem expensive and your third level experience is very much a financial struggle, it is thankfully nothing compared to some schools in other countries.
