Our friends are some of the most important people in our lives. They're there to celebrate with us when we are at our happiest and they are there to help pick up the pieces when things go wrong. With crazy schedules and hectic work lives, it can sometimes be hard to set aside some quality time with your BFF. Sometimes you just need a weekend on the sofa binge-watching a brilliant series and eating pizza with your favourite person, and there's nothing wrong with that. 5. Take up a new hobby Want a good excuse to meet up at least once a week? Sign yourselves up for a local drama class or sports club and you'll have no reason to miss a rendezvous. 6. Set a goal Have you both always wanted to run a 5k? Working towards something together will make it so much easier. 7. Volunteer Volunteering at a local charity is a great way to catch up with your BFF and bring lots of good karma your way too. 8. Book a weekend break Escape the everyday and spend a whole weekend some place new. You'll have great craic planning the adventure before you go and spend ages mulling over the photos once you get back. Just think of all those gorgeous Instas. 9. Go for afternoon tea There is nothing nicer than getting dolled up and heading out for some afternoon tea with your best friend. You'll be able to catch up properly and have a good old gossip over your favourite tipple. 10. Get outdoors Fresh air can work wonders on your mood. Grab your bestie and your coat (it is Ireland after all) and go for a nice long walk in the countryside. It can cure a multitude of sins.
