Brothers and sisters are some of the most important people in our lives, but they can also be the most annoying ones too. Ahead of the release of The Huntsman: Winter's War, starring Charlize Theron and Emily Blunt, a story about the ultimate sibling rivalry between evil Queen Ravenna and her good sister Freya, it got us thinking about all the annoying things siblings do to each other. They are the ones who know exactly how to annoy you, tease you and in general, drive you absolutely bonkers. Here are some of their more annoying habits… Clothes War When it comes to stealing borrowing clothes, siblings have to be the best. They have a unique skill in taking clothes without permission. Sometimes they're returned safely, but let's be realistic, more often than not they don't get returned for months. Worse still they're returned with all sorts of stains on them, like fake tan or food. Running interference We all love having a chat about our love lives and those early days in a relationship when you're still in the bubble. But there’s nothing worse than your sister interfering and being extremely blunt or worse, your brothers threatening to beat them up. Oversharing They have seen you go through every awkward moment of your younger years and will be the ones to constantly remind you and regale friends (and potential boyfriends) with tales of times gone by. Cringe. They will usually also call you by your childhood nickname - and it’s never a cute one. Tattling to Mammy Ah, the ultimate blackmail. Whatever your sibling wants you to do, using the 'Telling Mammy' card is one quickfire way to make sure you do it. Or worse still, whenever somebody is getting in trouble in the house, the finger will always be pointed at you. Siblings love blaming each other for something they didn’t do (and are quick to tell tales when you actually have done it). Hiding all your things Siblings love to torment each other and there’s nothing more annoying than when they hide your favourite book or toy and laugh hysterically as you search frantically. Shotgun! Everybody wants to sit up the front of the car and things get even more infuriating when you’ve called 'shotgun', but your sibling beats you to the car, and then locks the passenger door. Or if you're the youngest they use the classic 'oldest in the front' card. Claiming their un-used stuff For that same car journey, or just generally in life, they will always want what you have got. For instance, if you were going on a car journey and you noticed that your sibling left their iPod behind and you grab it to use it, they instantly want to use it themselves for said journey. Your argument about them not having it if you hadn't brought it would be null and void because they own it. Mum and Dad would be called in for the final say and who do you think will get to use it? Them, of course, because it's theirs.   One, two, Freddy's coming for you... Remember the tales of ‘Bloody Mary’ or the ghost stories of people hiding in the garden or under your bed? Those sleepless nights are all thanks to your siblings. Gremlins were also used on occasion to scare the bejaysus out of you and ensure not one minute of sleep would be gotten. Fight club Regardless of age, if you get into a fight with one of your siblings, the likelihood is that you will have no problem whatsoever giving each other a shove… or casually trying to trip them up as they walk by. We are mature. Seriously. Boost your self-confidence Siblings will constantly throw insults at you, regardless of how nice you think you look. According to them, you are usually ‘like the back of a bus’ or ‘dragged through a bush backwards’.
