"It worked as expected, delaying my period for that month. However the knock on effect for the next month was tough. I experienced extreme cramping, pain, excessive bleeding and a 15 day period. "I read and understood the side effects, as with any pill designed to interfere with your cycle. However I did not expect such immediate and stressful effects. In my opinion it was really really not worth it."The medication is only available by prescription so you'll have to chat to your GP about getting it. If you're on the pill, you can delay your period by running your pill packets together and skipping your seven days off. Curious about other methods of delaying your period? We previously took a deep dive into the internet's various suggestions here.
