There has been a wide discussion surrounding Vitamin D and Covid-19 ever since the outbreak of the virus, and while there is no concrete evidence as to whether there is any sort of connection, pharmacists in Ireland have urged people to consider taking a supplement if they aren't getting enough Vitamin D in their diet. The consumption of Vitamin D has a number of health benefits, and while it is naturally in our bodies when we’re exposed to sunlight, spending a lot of time indoors, such as during Covid restrictions, or during winter conditions, will reduce your natural vitamin D production.
