If you have been doing Veganuary and decided to stick with plant-based eating a little longer, or have been eating this way for a while now, chances are you have already come across delicious, Irish plant-based food company Nobó. Their yummy plant-based ice creams and chocolates are already for sale in supermarkets and health food stores across Ireland, over the past couple of years, they have also added things like nut butters and nut drizzles to their online offering. However now, this family-run, Dublin-based foodie company have taken things one step further and opened a shop/café in Ranelagh – where you can indulge in all their most delicious and, of course, completely plant-based treats. "The Treathouse will be a home for simpler, kinder, plant-based treats," Nobó founders – and husband and wife – Rachel and Brian explains. "At the centre of the space is our unique glass-enclosed chocolate lab - a creative space where our chocolatiers will be crafting handmade truffles, ganache and pralines from our creamy single-origin, dairy-free chocolate." Everything produced and sold at The Treathouse will be dairy-free, gluten-free and refined sugar-free – and hand-made daily using wholesome simple ingredients. "You will also find 'Pantry Items' such as trail mixes, granola and 'cakes and bakes,' Rachel says. "Making everything in small batches allows us to make our nutritious treats, sustainable and delicious. So far our Treathouse Chocolate Chip Cookie and our Apple & Cinnamon muffin with Roasted Pistachio Spread is proving extremely popular!" And if you pop in for a visit, don't miss the Nobó mylk shakes. Or the ice-cream sandwiches. Or the superfood smoothies. And for even more plant-based, delicious treats, you will also find cold-pressed juices, nut butters, truffles, chocolate bars and coffee, of course, at the Treathouse.
