It sounds delicious!

If you're a big coffee fiend like I am, you'll know the importance of a cup of joe. Whether it's waking up early for work, to perking you up at lunch or giving you a boost before you finish that late shift, we all appreciate a hot cup of coffee at different times of the day. For those of you feeling seriously addicted, it turns out it may be just down to your genes which is always reassuring to know.

When it comes to picking up a coffee from one of the numerous coffee chains we have in Ireland, many will bow to pressure and name Starbucks as the best. To be fair, they have a great selection and nearly everything you would want or crave is readily available from their food or drinks sections. One latte we hadn't heard of before is an oatmeal latte. Yes, you have your soy milk, coconut milk or skinny latte, but an oatmeal latte is definitely a new thing to us.

According to Pop Sugar, you can get this from the Starbucks secret menu all year round. You can order an oatmeal latte by simply ordering porridge from Starbucks and asking for steamed milk instead of hot water. You can ask for soy milk either. Ask for one shot of espresso to be poured onto the top (or two, if you really like it strong). If your barista can't add it on, just order the shots separately and add it on top yourself. Let the mixture bind together for a few minutes and when it's thick enough for your liking, top with brown sugar - some people recommend having some raisins or nuts with it. It should resemble something like these bowls of warm, nutritious goodness...
