Giz dem.
Look lads, let's level here.
Rice Krispies are not the most exciting breakfast cereal in the world.
They're nice, they've got a good texture, they're a bit of a throwback. All in all a decent enough way to spend your morning.
Still though, there's something about the humble Rice Krispie that's just a little bit standard.
Sure it's got that sweet, sweet snap, crackle, pop, but what else has it got going for it, really?
Not a whole lot, to be honest.

That was, until, now because Strawberry Rice Krispies are suddenly a thing are we are equal parts enthralled and intrigued.
According to
Delish.com, this is the first time in 10 years that Kellogg's have introduced a new flavour - and it's a good 'un too.
The publication say that the brand will "[deliver] on one of fans' top flavour preferences with a simply, naturally inspired strawberry flavour."
Beautiful.
Just beautiful.

And as it turns out, this isn't the first time that Strawberry Rice Krispies have been a thing either.
They used to be on sale back in the '80s, but were eventually discontinued for reasons unknown. They'll be back early next year though with a whole new (probably nicer) recipe.
The only issue is that they're currently only launching in the States and that they won't be available in Ireland.
A modern tragedy, if we ever saw one.
