Michal Blaszczyk from Ongar who was the very first customer in line - and had been queuing since 4am for the chance to try his first ever Krispy Kreme doughnut.
The Blanchardstown shop is one of the doughnut company's biggest outlets in Europe - and has 16 different kinds of treats available to try, from Reeses to Strawberry glazed; Nutella to the OG.
Kreme Shakes, tea, coffee and other refreshments will also be available in-store and to take away - and available 24/7, thanks to the shop's drive-through.
Commenting on the store opening, Alex Drysdale, Ireland Country Director, Krispy Kreme, said:
“We are overjoyed to have people from all around Ireland share the excitement of opening day with us in our first ever Irish store. "On day one alone, we have welcomed families, couples, friends and local workers stocking up on our delicious doughnuts for the office. "We would really like to thank all those who joined us today and sent in their good luck wishes. "We must also extend our gratitude to the local authority, our Blanchardstown neighbours and our incredibly hard-working Krispy Kreme colleagues who helped to make opening day a roaring success. "Our doors are now officially open 7 days a week and we look forward to welcoming even more customers here soon.”Photos via @KrispyKremeIRL.
