We all love a G&T from time to time.

No matter what the season, there's nothing better than sitting inside and sipping on some gin and tonic. But did you know there's a way to make it taste better? Gin expert David T Smith told Cosmo that there's one thing we should all be doing to make our gin taste better, and that's just being patient with it. Yep, instead of drinking it the minute it lands in our hands, we should be waiting a minute or two for the ice to melt so the mix of flavours is better. "The final chill-factor comes from the use of ice which absorbs the heat of the drink, and this, in turn, is what turns the ice into water. "When the ice begins to melt; this not only makes the drink cooler but helps to marry all the flavours together." We all have a thing about seeing loads of ice in our drinks - we all think it will be watered down and we won't get the full amount, but actually this couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, having an ample amounts of ice is actually better than having just two ice cubs in there, so... is it time for a G&T yet?
