Batches of hummus has been recalled in Ireland due to a bacterial contamination risk. Harvest Moon Natural Hummus in pack sizes of 180g was found to have Listeria bacteria in the product. The Food Safety Authority of Ireland said: "Harvest Moon Foods is recalling the above batch of Harvest Moon Natural Hummus due to the detection of Listeria monocytogenes. Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores that sold the implicated batch." Various shops that sold the hummus will each individually display signs urging customers to return to product as soon as possible. The best before date on the pack is September 16 2018. Meanwhile, during the week rashers, burgers and minced beef products were recalled this week due to health risks. he products in question come from Tullyard Farm. The following were found to be a health risk:

The FSAI said: "The above meat products and meat preparations processed in Tullyard Farm, Unit 8 Oaktree Business Centre, Oaktree Business Park, Trim, Co. Meath are being withdrawn as they were processed in an unapproved facility. The products are incorrectly labelled and carry inappropriate identification marks. No other Tullyard Farm products are known to be affected."
