Lead Brewer, John Casey, told The Irish Times: “Consumers shouldn’t have to compromise on flavour just because they want to moderate.
"With Pure Brew, we wanted to give people a taste experience comparable to regular beer.”
The lager was developed in Open Gate, the experimental brewery in St James' Gate and will be rolled out to 250 pubs in the capital by the end of this month.
