With burrito bars in Belfast, Dublin and Galway, Boojum lovers in Cork might have been feeling a little bit left out but no more. In news that will delight every burrito lover on Leeside,Cork will finally be getting their first Boojum and it's expected to open in January.
The restaurant will belocated on Winthrop Street and will have two floors.
In further good news, Boojum will also be recruiting at least 30 people.
Owner David Maxwell has said: “Cork has been on the Boojum radar for some time. We just wanted to wait until we found the perfect location. We will be running a recruitment drive in the next few weeks to staff the store, bringing upwards of 30 new jobs to the city.”
