Looking for somewhere new to eat?
I honestly think of myself as that meme where the girl is trying to save money and then someone mentions eating out and she is literally first to reply saying "YAS".
Like most millennials, I live for spending every cent on aesthetically pleasing €15 cocktails and fancy eggs.
I love tapas, I adore pizza and let's not forget, hipster coffee in cute cups.
But over the past couple of weeks, I've been trying to broaden my horizons, try some new spots and steer away from my usuals. I'm hoping to do this every week so I can also bring you some nice new (and old) places to try in the hopes that none of us miss a beat (or a stun dish).
So where have I eaten recently?
Proof Pizza
New to the pizza scene in Dublin. Proof Pizza is located on Thomas Street in Dublin 8. A short walk from the city centre, Proof Pizza doesn't just serve food that's worth treking the extra but, it's also well priced and has cocktails on tap.
Oh, and did we mention, it's attached to the cutest cafe for dessert plus the interiors will make you snap happy.
The Lucky Tortoise
If you're looking for all you can eat Dim Sum for €20, you need to check out this spot. Having moved to Aungier Street, Dublin 2, this restaurant is a must for dumpling lovers.
It also has a serious vegetarian menu plus orange wine that'll tickle the tastebuds.

TriBeCa
Located in Ranelagh, this restaurant has been around for almost two decades. Serving up chicken wings, tasty tacos and mini sliders, this bar/restaurant is perfect for a light bite, some drinks or even for a cute date night.
Getting here from the city centre is also easy, just hop on the green line Luas from St Stephen's Green and ride for three stops.
Gaillot et Gray
Another spot that has been around for quite some time yet one I've only just managed to eat in last week is Gaillot et Gray.
From huge sandwiches at lunchtime to divine pizzas and tasty garlic dip in the evening, Gaillot et Grey is a French neighbourhood dream.
The restaurant which is located on Clanbrassil Street first started out as a food truck in Greystones and then opened a permanent eatery in 2016.
The pizzas range from €10 - €15 and the venue also has wine and beer on offer.
If you can't make it here for dinner then you need to make it your mission to grab a coffee and a madeleine at some stage.
