Over the last few months people have gotten into both gardening and baking in a big way. On the baking side, we've seen banana bread, cupcakes, sour dough, you name it. Then on the gardening side, well, we've never heard of garden centres being as insanely popular as they are at the moment. The celebration after they opened back up was a big one. So those are two hobbies that have grown in popularity during lockdown but now we're seeing something new that combines both of those: focaccia bread-art. This new trend has people baking focaccia and creating a stunning garden design to go on the top. The bakers use bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, spinach, etc. to create the image of flowers or other plants as a topping to their bread, making the focaccia look extra impressive. Focaccia is one of the most scrumptious breads to eat but these pieces of art are almost making us not want to eat them for fear of ruining them. Almost, we said.
