The festivals have been launched by a cheese club called Homage2Fromage (get it?) and take place once a month in various cities across the UK including Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield and Harrogate, with plans to expand to London soon. The events offer ticket-holders the chance to taste an absolute shit tonne of cheese, listen to experts and even play cheese-related games, such as - we presume - Pin The Tail On The Cheese, I Spy Cheese and Spin The Cheese. "The aim of the club is to celebrate great cheese in an informal fun way - this is not about snobby cheese and wine tastings, it is about sharing one of the greatest foods ever, in a simple, relaxed way," said the company's co-founder Nick “Homage2Fromage helps you discover new cheese, meet like-minded cheese fans and hear some of the amazing stories behind cheese and cheesemaking." You can get an annual membership for Homage2Fromage for £20, which will offer members a number of perks, including discounts on tickets for events.
