Batches of Doritos tortilla chips have been recalled due to potential health concerns.
On Saturday, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI)
issued a statement, noting that Walkers Snack Foods is recalling batches of Doritos Tangy Cheese 180g.
The reason for the recall is that the product contains soya which is not accurately indicated on the label.
"Although this product includes precautionary allergen labelling for soya, it is undeclared in the ingredients list and may pose a risk to people with an allergy to soya," says the FSAI.
The specific batches in question have a best before code of
06/06/20 on the packet.
All related products with a best before code of 13/06/20 and beyond are unaffected.
