A few years ago, when somebody said they were pregnant, they received a brief congratulations and then everybody got on with their lives.
Nowadays, when somebody says they're pregnant, they have to do a gender reveal, they have to post bump progress pictures, they have to film themselves pushing the child out of their body just so everybody else can involve themselves in the birth.
... They also have to eat graphic birth cakes that look like vaginas because it's 2019 and that's just how the world works now.
One person who recently received such a birth cake was Amy Schumer.

The comedian's sister-in-law presented her with the creation recently and it is... certainly something.
With sprinkles for pubic hair, butter icing for skin, and pink bit for a genuine asshole, the cake depicts exactly what's going to happen to Amy in a few short months.
She will give birth. And it will look exactly like this.

Amy announced that she was expecting her first child with husband Chris Fischer back in October.
She has since been quite candid about how difficult her pregnancy due to her experience of hyperemesis which has caused severe nausea and vomiting.
Schumer is expecting her baby this spring.
