That's according to data from the Social Security Administration which rounded up data pertaining to the top 1,000 baby names in the country. In 2014, it reach number 5, and the following year it climbed one place to number 4 where it stayed throughout 2016. Then, in 2017, it was the second most popular name before finally reaching the top spot in 2018. Since then, it's reigned supreme, with 2022 being its fourth year running as the most popular boy's baby name. As well as Liam just being a gorgeous-sounding name, some famous Liams around the world are bound to have played a role in its booming success.
