Ms Davy also admitted that "couldn't cope" with the attention.
In the same interview with The Times, she previously spoke about being chased by photographers, explaining: "It was so full-on: crazy and scary and uncomfortable. I found it very difficult when it was bad."
She added: "I was trying to be a normal kid and it was horrible."
Despite the split, Chelsy reckons she'll always "be good friends" with Harry; she was even invited to William and Kate's wedding in April 2011.
Chelsy's mother is Beverley Donald, Miss Rhodesia 1973. Her father, Charles Davy, is a South African safari farmer. She divides her time between Zimbabwe, Zambia, and London.
