Another day, another new cast member for You. 

In February this year, Netflix confirmed that production for the second season was underway as they shared two behind-the-scenes snaps from the first table read. Progress on the highly anticipated new episodes seems to be moving along pretty fast, too, with plenty of the newest cast members - from the new Beck to some of Joe's new potential victims - have been announced. Now, another new character has been added to the cast - and you'll definitely recognise them. [caption id="attachment_456439" align="alignnone" width="1476"] Charlie Barnett[/caption] Charlie Barnett, who recently starred on Netflix's Russian Doll, has signed on in a recurring role. Deadline report he will play Gabe, Love Quinn's "oldest and closest confidant".  He’s also a successful acupuncturist and psychedelics aficionado that enjoys living life to the fullest. Based off that description (and the fact that Love has been tipped to be the new Beck), we can't imagine Joe is going to be too fond of Gabe. It comes as it was revealed Gotham's Robin Lord Taylor has also joined the series. The actor has played Oswald Cobblepot - also known as The Penguin - in the Batman prequel series since it began. But as Gotham's final season rumbles on, it emerged that Lord Taylor has signed on to You as "thoughtful, personable and highly intelligent" guy named Will. [caption id="attachment_456433" align="alignnone" width="1836"] Robin Lord Taylor[/caption] But he ends up getting trapped in a bad situation (which, if we had to guess, Joe Goldberg will play some part in). The second season of You is expected to follow Joe's move away from New York City. Loosely based on Caroline Kepnes' second book, Hidden Bodies, it will follow the kidnapper/murderer/stalker/bookstore manage as he leaves NYC for Los Angeles, where he meets Love Quinn - an aspiring chef working as a produce manager in a high-end grocery store. [caption id="attachment_456436" align="alignnone" width="1367"] Victoria Pedretti[/caption] However, Love will be a completely different character to the main love interest of the first series, Beck. She's not into social media and is more interested in living an fulfilling life. The Haunting of Hill House's Victoria Pedretti will play the character.
