The latest trailer for the fourth season of The Handmaid's Tale dropped, and fan theories are already running wild. Indeed, speculation is rife and it's not surprising. This hugely popular series - which is an adaptation of Margaret Atwood's novel of the same name - has a dedicated fanbase who are determined to find out what happens next. When we last saw June (Elisabeth Moss), she was attempting to save the children of Gilead by bundling them on a plane, and shipping them off to Canada. However, June didn't manage to flee with them. In fact, she is resolute not to leave the country without her own daughter, Hannah. The latest trailer for this nail-biting series has intensified fan theories. In it, we see June being asked if her presence in Gilead will result in "danger of torture", or "cruel and unusual punishment or treatment". Well, knowing the twisted world of Gilead - and from some snippets in the trailer - the answer to that question is a firm yes. Additionally, the trailer shows that the search is on for June, as authorities - and the dreaded Aunt Lydia - orchestrate her capture. June, meanwhile, is undeterred in her commitment to shake off the oppressive shackles of the state. The current leading theory is that Serena Joy is pregnant. If this is true, then the implications are major. For instance, who is the father? Could it be her awful husband Fred? Or perhaps someone else? Many fans speculate that Serena slept with Mark Tuello, the man who lured them over the border to Canada. Though we don't see them have sex, they share a room, so it's very much in the realm of possibility. In any case, we cannot wait to see how this one unfurls. The fourth season of The Handmaid's Tale will debut on Hulu on 28 April, although the release date for the UK and Ireland is yet to be announced.
