It feels like we've been waiting for the new Downton Abbey film for literal ages now, but the wait is now somewhat over.
With the film set to be released in the new year, the trailer has just dropped and to say we're excited is a major understatement.
During CinemaCon around two months, the title for the new film and a new trailer was revealed exclusively to the audience, only two years after we saw the first - no biggie.
And now, we finally get to see that trailer, it's a good day for the parish.
Downton Abbey: A New Era is set to hit Irish cinemas on March 18th, 2022 so while we wait another few months to see it, the trailer will have to suffice.
Opening the trailer with our usual favourite faces, the drama starts when Maggie Smith's Violet, Dowager Countess of Grantham drops a bombshell.
Revealing that she has come into possession of a villa in the south of France, you can only imagine that everyone else is quite stunned.
Universal Pictures said in a release: "The original principal cast of Downton Abbey will all once again return for the second film.
"In addition to the original cast, Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye, Dominic West, and Jonathan Zaccaï will join the cast."
And as we see the whole gang travel to the very luxurious and glamorous looking villa in France, we can only assume there is more than meets the eye here.
