The pair are said to have enjoyed a string of dates in the months before Ellie entered the villa.
However, the relationship quickly fizzled out when Ellie was ready to take things further but Kem was keen to stay single.
“Kem and Ellie enjoyed a secret romance before she went onto Love Island,” a source told The Sun. “They have remained close friends since the show ended and were recently spotted at a hotel in Kent.”Ellie went on to cause some drama for fan-favourites Jack and Dani on this year's series as she had been seeing the former pen salesman for two years. However, after spending the day together, Ellie and Dani buried the hatchet and went on to be mates.
