We'll admit that we were more than a little skeptical about the thoughts of an Annie remake and now that we have seen the trailer, we kind of want to just go back and watch the original.
Starring Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx, the film revolves around a young orphan girl who is fostered by a business tycoon who is running for Mayor.
Although the musical numbers from the original film seem to be included here, they certainly are not really the original ones by a long stretch.
The film will get a release here in February of next year.
