How did we not spot this?
First of all, has anyone watched the new
Beauty and the Beast trailer over and over again like me? The best part is that it stays so true to the original 1991 cartoon.
When we heard Emma Watson would be playing the role of Belle we were happy but seeing her now in the iconic yellow dress in the big castle it just fits so well.
And while the recent trailer smashed records for the most views in 24 hours, there is one thing that most people didn't notice - the scenes are copies of the original movie.
It's not a direct replica of the trailer from the 1991 movie but rather the individual scenes throughout the movie have remained the same.
The folks over at
Movie Plot have cut the two versions together and you can see the similarities.
It makes it even more likely that the full version, which will be released on the 17th of March, 2017, will live up to our childhood memories.
