The John Lewis advert has brought a welcomed distraction to the Trump news today.
The John Lewis Christmas advert was released this morning and, as expected, it went viral within a few minutes. It's based on the central character Buster the boxer who watches as some wildlife animals play on his owner's brand new trampoline.
The dad sets the trampoline in the back garden on Christmas Eve, after which the animals sneak in to test it out. In the real advert, Buster watches on in jealousy before bursting through the doors on Christmas morning to play on the new toy.
But, in this parody version, which has already been made, it tells a different story.
The same animals have fun on the trampoline, but instead of Buster and his owner getting their turn on Christmas morning, they're faced with a very different ending.
You'll have to watch it play out to fully appreciate this new addition.
