It's all about to kick off.

A couple of weeks ago, we discussed how Sophie Webster is set to get a new love interest, none other than her mother's lawyer. Yes, Sophie's new girlfriend arrives in Weatherfield to give legal advice and you just know that Sally will be absolutely raging because according to reports, there's a significant age gap between the pair. The need for a lawyer arises when Sally accidentally gives money to a scam and so, she needs legal advice to figure out her next step. This storyline is expected to kick off soon but in the interim, fans of the soap might be interested to know that this particular character is a familiar figure in soapland. Stirling Gallacher is set to take on the role of said lawyer and as a regular on Doctors for nine years, in the role of Dr Georgina Woodson FYI, she knows her way around a soap set. According to Digital Spy, Stirling recently appeared in Eastenders too, albeit briefly, remember the Mayor of Walford? Anyway, there's no exact date on when this storyline will air but we have a feeling that Corrie viewers will be glued to their TV screens.
