Gogglebox is one of the most popular reality TV shows these days.  While the concept is fairly simple, it just works on so many levels. Who would have thought it would be so entertaining to see other people watching TV programmes and commenting on them. Surprisingly a source has blabbed that they only receive £15 per night of filming while on the show. So that led us to wonder what they do for a living, and luckily the guys over in The Mirror have done some research and found out what each of the stars get up to when they're not filming. The Moffatts Scarlett used to work as a disability advisor for students but is currently covering maternity leave for a presenter on Capital North East's daily Breakfast Show. Mark is a welder who specialises in making JCBs, while mum Betty works in the clothing store Burton. The Michaels The parents, Carolyne and Andy, are both retired following Andy's career as a hotelier. Michael did try to get into politics which saw the family leave the show two years ago but after he failed to get enough votes the family returned to the show, much to the delight of viewers. As for the children, Louis studies at the University of Chichester and his older sister Alex has a Masters in Computer Science. They also have two other children, Katie and Pascal, who weren't seen on the show until Katie filled in for Alex after she returned from living in Australia. Leon and June Leon was a history teacher and June was an English teacher but they're both retired now. They met back in teaching college and enjoy passing their spare time in the local swimming baths. Chris and Stephen It won't be any surprise to learn that both Chris and Stephen are hairdressers. It's often their trendy new hairstyles, rather than their comments they make, which get people talking. Sandy and Sandra Sandy spends a lot of her time minding her grandchild Shiloh, while Sandra, who is currently unemployed, mainly spends her time reading books on how to be funny. Giles and Mary Giles is an artist and Mary is a writer best known for being the Spectator’s agony aunt. Her writing career began in 1984 at Tatler and has written a book called How The Queen Can Make You Happy. And there we were thinking they had all quit their jobs to just star in Gogglebox.
