Although season five of the series is only set to drop on Netflix next month, Pop TV and Canada’s CBC announced that the all important season six will kick off in the States on January 7, 2020.
They also shared a teaser of the show just to ensure that everybody is as hyped as they could ever possibly be.
Dan Levy, who co-created the series along with dad Eugene, told Entertainment Weekly that he originally thought the show was only going to get five seasons.
“I feel really confident that we’ve really mined everything we could," he said.
"But the world doesn’t explode at the end of it. If there is something that comes up down the line that feels compelling enough to bring our troupe back together and continue to tell a story, so be it.
"I’m not one to lay down the iron fist and say, ‘This is it forever.’ This is just it for now.”
