"Viewer, beware, you're in for a scare!"
Our inner 90s child is very excited to hear that the classic children’s horror fiction series Goosebumps is headed for the big screen.
For many of us R.L Stein’s Goosebumps series was our first exposure to horror stories, and copies of the various books changed hands at school break time faster than the lyric pages from Smash Hits.

Rumours of a Goosebumps movie have been rife for a while now, but it’s all become a little more real this week, with multiple sources reporting that Sony have approached Monsters VS. Aliens director Rob Letterman to helm the film.
It is as yet unclear as to how a movie plot might be developed, as the book series, which ran from 1992 to 1997, was not sequential – characters and locations, as well of course as the monsters, changed from one book to the next.
Fans of the books will also remember that they were adapted into a television series, which ran from 1995 to 1998, and one episode even featured a young Ryan Gosling.
