When I asked what's next for her she said, "It's very much up in the air but we are in talks with various people about various projects. We'd love to do some sort of film documentary, it's something we always kind of wanted to do but it's just about finding the right kind of avenue. And to spend a bit more time with our families, they don't get to see us very often."
Speaking about the new show she said, "The Last Tango is an amazing show even though it's our show I probably shouldn't say that. It's quite an emotional show. Each show that we've come up with we've tried to give people a story to follow so it's not just a dance show.
"The story is about a man called George and we take you from the 1920's right up until the 1970's and it just takes you through his life. When he first met his partner and all the ups and downs that generally happen during a lifetime. It has happy moments and sad moments so I think people will be able to relate to it.
"We've married that with some amazing song choices and a beautiful set. There are loads of different dance styles, we go from jive to tango, waltz, foxtrot and salsa. There's bits of everything in there but it all works under the one musical umbrella."
For Strictly Come Dancing fans Flavia says that if you like what you see on TV, then you'll love this show: "I would always say that live is 100 times better than on TV. That's purely because of the third dimension that you lose. I've never heard anyone say that a dance routine looks better on TV."Explore more on these topics:
