The Bodyguard is one of the most beloved romantic movies of all time. Starring the late, great, Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner in his leading man heyday, the film also boasted one of the most popular movie soundtracks ever to hit shelves.
Which is why the story makes for a perfect musical.
The Bodyguard opened at the Adelphi Theatre in London’s West End in December 2012, twenty years after the film was released, where it continues to play to packed houses and standing ovations. It was nominated for four Laurence Olivier Awards including Best New Musical and Best Set Design.
Now, the musical is coming to Dublin.
This smash hit show will play The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from the 22nd July - 01 August 2015 for two weeks only. Tickets from €20.00 go on sale this Friday 17th October at 9.00am.
