Electric Picnic is the highlight of the year for a lot of music fans in Ireland.
The official announcement of the first batch of acts that will play in Laois later this year will take place in March, but it seems the announcement of one of the big acts for the 2017 slipped out today.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the release of Interpol's album Turn On The Bright Light and the band has announced that it will tour the album to celebrate.
They released a cool video revealing where the locations they'll play and look what popped up...

The screenshot by @Hidden_Mirrors_ is important because the original video was taken down and replaced with a video that didn't include Stradbally, where EP takes place, in the tour dates.
We contacted the PR company that looks after EP and they said that the first official announcements will be made in March.
Interesting.
If you don't know Interpol, Evil is the biggest hit from Turn On The Bright Lights. Give it a listen and hopefully we'll be hearing it live in Laois in September.
