She even called it a hostile environment.

Love Island's Francesca Allen has told how she struggled and felt like an outsider when she first entered the villa. The 23-year-old entered the villa as a late addition earlier this month, alongside Chris Taylor. And following her exit on Sunday, Francesca has spoken about not getting the "warmest welcome" when she did arrive. She told MailOnline:

"I struggled quite a lot when I first went in there, I didn’t have the warmest of welcomes, seeing as I was so excited to get to know everyone and get chatting.

"But I didn’t have the warmest of welcomes. So Ovie really helped me through everything, he was like: 'It's alright, it's just like that at first.'

"I did [feel] a little [like an outsider], it was a shame it took them a little while to warm to me. "I’m not a horrible person - I would always make everyone and anyone feel welcome."

The clothing store manager went on to add that it was a "different vibe" when India Reynolds and Harley Brash arrived in the villa - and that they got a warmer welcome than she had. Recalling how she had tried to make them feel as welcomed as possible, she said:

"As soon as India and Harley came in, I just wanted them to not feel as I felt, it was a different vibe for them than when I came in, a different situation. I was interested in someone that someone else was interested in, they both liked Ovie. "The girls were a bit more welcoming than they were to me, they were excited Ovie was going to have two girls who liked him, it hadn’t happened yet. Different situation, different reception, I’m glad they got it, having my one wasn’t the best… you don’t want that."

The 23-year-old added that she wished she had voiced it to the girls that she was feeling left out. She said:

"I am too laid back as a person, I should have voiced it to the girls that I’m feeling left out and things like that... when I didn’t, I sort of stayed quiet, I had Joanna and Belle, they are lovely."
