If you do fancy making an appearance on TV, your best bet may be to apply for Countdown. The long running lunchtime puzzle series receives 840 application searches per year and has 250 contestants per series. This gives applicants a 29.76% chance of making it onto the show.
While there is no massive cash prize or Pretty Little Thing deals for the Countdown winner, you can rest assured that you won't have to wear a bikini while on telly, and you might take home a teapot, so it's a win-win.
