Tubridy is overjoyed, anyway.
The Late Late Show always takes a break during the summer, and the new season of the show will be Ryan's 10th year of hosting it (that went fast).
The
Late Late can be a bit of a laugh - from Daniel O'Donnell's sing song and Keith Barry's magic tricks to Irish stars such as
Barry Keoghan taking to the couch - you're always in for a good night.
The show also covers in depth and real-life topics however, with last year seeing transgender men sharing their
stories of loneliness and Bryan Dobson addressing the
gender pay gap in RTÉ and indeed in Ireland.
However, the presenter announced today on his
RTÉ Radio One show that there's a few exciting changes coming our way.

Tubs said: "When
The Late Late Show comes back, that's back to school. We will be meeting up this week and fixing that all up for the autumn.
"It is going to be my tenth year doing
The Late Late Show, this year, so it is kind of exciting."
"We have some very special news about the show that we will be sharing with you on Thursday when we have what is called the 'Autumn Launch' because there are big things happening this season."
We can't wait to see what's in store.
