Kathryn Thomas’ encouraging words as Operation Transformation leaders run 5K race

"The icing on the cake."

Kathryn Thomas has shared some words of encouragement ahead of this week's Operation Transformation finale. The presenter attended the show's 5k run in Dublin's Phoenix Park this week along with the leaders who have achieved so much during their time on the programme. Yesterday, Cathal, Paul, Siobhan, Pamela, and Jean took part in the race to mark how far they had all come over the past few weeks.  5,000 supporters were also there to support them in their final event before the series finishes. https://www.instagram.com/p/BuQpTzWnWPt/ Operation Transformation presenter Kathryn shared some photos of the poignant event, addressing the thousands of people who supported the leaders through their health journeys. "What an incredible day in the Phoenix Park," she wrote. "5000 people from all over Ireland came to run with our amazing @rteoperationtransformation leaders. Every step of the way they have felt huge support. "And yesterday was the icing on the cake." Kathryn also included a photo of Cathal, Jean, Pamela, Paul, and Siobhan about to begin the run, and a family picture of herself, partner Padraig McLaughlin and baby daughter Ellie. The Operation Transformation final airs on RTE next week. During last week's episode, leader Cathal was praised for his incredibly moving and important speech about mental health.
