Ireland’s “Raunchy Tallafornia” Has Been Given The Axe

Ireland’s latest reality show Infectious, which was branded earlier this week as a “raunchy Tallafornia”, has reportedly been axed. According to Goss.ie, production on the show has been stopped by Alonze Productions amidst fears that the “backlash” would damage the company’s reputation. “There was a huge row,” an insider told the website. “The whole case worked so hard on the production but producers decided they didn’t want to continue with it anymore. “They had already aired a full episode and there was more to come, but they were worried about the backlash from the public,” the source continued. “Ava Van Rose was pretty much naked in the first episode and the whole thing was coming across too tacky.” The show, which featured former Tallafornia stars Phil Penny, Nikitta Murray and Marc O’Neil, had aired its first episode, set in a tanning salon, earlier this week. “Alonze want to protect their brand so they are done with the show, nothing more will be happening.” The news was later confirmed by David D-Pole. “Due to inhouse fighting – not me, I go with the flow – and a pot stirrer or two, the production has ceased and there won’t be any more,” he revealed. “So sorry to those who enjoyed the bit of trashy fun, but I’m sure it won’t be long before another show is up and going.” Goss.ie also reported that the show’s social media accounts and all video content have now been deleted.
