Heath Ledger was one of the most talented young actors of our generation but he sadly passed away back in 2008 after taking an accidental drug overdose.
To mark the sixth anniversary of his death, we took a look back at some of his most memorable movie moments:
Monster's Ball
He didn't have a huge role in this drama but Heath's performance certainly stood out and proved his worth as a serious actor.
10 Things I Hate About You
It might have been a teen flick but the Aussie star really shone in this rom-com and showed that his voice was just as dreamy as his smile.
A Knight's Tale
Speaking of talents, Heath could also throw some moves on the floor. This is easily one of our favourite dance scenes from a film ever!
Brokeback Mountain
His role in this award-winning movie really demonstrated how diverse he could be. Just a warning: this scene will tug on the heartstrings.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
This was Heath's last film, and one that he sadly never completed, but from this clip you can see just how engaging he was.
The Dark Knight
The Joker is undoubtedly the role that he will always be remembered for and it bagged him an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Two words: simply brilliant.
