Mel B is following in Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s footsteps by making a cameo appearance in Coronation Street.
The
X Factor judge is going to star in a special charity edition of the show for fundraiser
Text Santa, which airs on December 19th.
A spokesperson confirmed the news to
The Mirror before adding: “It’s great that Mel B will be a guest star in the special
Coronation Street sketch for
Text Santa.”
Mel is set to film on the cobbles this week but it won’t be a new experience for the 39-year-old as she played Amy Nelson in the soap in 1993, before she rose to fame in the Spice Girls.
Last Christmas, Cheryl played a long lost friend of
Corrie favourite Tina McIntyre (played by Michelle Keegan).
